Our Diploma Programs

The Diploma in Automotive Collision Estimation Technology (DACET) at NCQF Level 6 is designed to address Botswana’s growing demand for specialised automotive skills and strengthen the employability of Batswana. Its rationale is aligned with Botswana’s National Development Plans 10 and 11, which emphasised skills development based on labour-market needs identified through the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). Automotive Engineering was identified as a priority area, including automotive body repair and related technical occupations. Collision estimation is particularly relevant to Botswana’s expanding transport, insurance, motor vehicle repair and automotive industries, where accurate assessment of vehicle damage is essential. The programme will equip Batswana with practical, industry-relevant competencies, supporting employment, entrepreneurship and SME development while contributing to poverty reduction, economic diversification and the development of a skilled national workforce.
